Flooding possible. Be prepared.
We have seen heavy rain across the area overnight and into this morning, Monday 23rd September. Rising river levels on the Bulbourne throughout the morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Gade and Bulbourne, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Gadebridge Park, Fishery Cottages, Fishery Road, and Boxmoor.
Further heavy rainfall is expected until 9am.
Weather conditions are expected to improve in the afternoon.
We are monitoring the situation closely.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
This message will be updated by 4pm on Monday 23rd September, or as the situation changes.
