Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Flooding is possible from 10:00 PM on 13/06/2025 to the early hours of Saturday morning. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected.


Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Scrapsgate Drain/ Warden Bay Drain, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around low lying land and roads along Warden Bay Drain, within Warden Bay.

Weather conditions are expected to improve tomorrow morning and no further flooding is expected.

We are closely monitoring the situation and checking rivers for blockages.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Don't put yourself or others at risk.
