The risk of flooding has now reduced and river levels are falling. The tree blocking the River Rib at Buntingford, to the rear of Rib Way and adjacent to Millfield First School, has now been removed and the river is clear from blockages.
No further flooding to fields and roads is expected today although some standing water will remain.
