Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from the Welsh border at Llawnt to Shrawardine near Shrewsbury. Other locations that may be affected include Llanymynech, Maesbrook and Melverley. Roads between Maesbrook, Melverley and Pentre start to flood. Observed peak:- , Cae Howel 3.67m on 28/02 10PM. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 02 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
