This Flood Warning has been removed.
River levels peaked in the early hours of 15/01/2020 and are now falling, but still pose a flood risk. The Flood Warning for the area has now been removed. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land. Wednesday the 15th remains largely dry. Further showery rainfall, heavy at times, is forecast for the afternoon of Thursday 16th.
We continue to monitor the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing debris from weed screens and in contact with community flood wardens and volunteers.
Please contact your insurance company if you've been flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
