Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Loughborough Sileby Cossington Road river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected from 14:00 today, 01/10/2024. Areas most at risk are properties at Brook Street and Cygnet Close.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until tomorrow, 02/10/2024.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and move family, pets and cars to safety.
