River levels on the River Ouse are still very high, but have now fallen from their peak. Minor flood impacts will continue Thursday, affecting rural roads, gardens and fields. We still have a Flood Alert in force for these impacts. River levels should continue to fall and return to near normal by Thursday evening. The next three days are currently predicted to remain dry, which will keep both river levels and flood risk low through this period. However, it is suggested that unsettled weather could return next week, please remain prepared for the risk of flooding to increase again after the weekend. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will re-issue this message if the risk of flooding increases again.
