Flood Warning

High spring tides and a tidal surge may lead to overtopping of sea defences. The forecast high water is 20:15 on 11/03/20 with a level of 7.45 mAOD and a Force 5 South Westerly wind. All times are local and refer to the high water time at Hinkley and mAOD is height above average sea level. For more details refer to local tide tables. There is the possibility of flooding to vulnerable seafront properties along the coastline between Sea Lane End and Blue Anchor Hotel including the chalets at Blue Anchor. Flooding may also affect the B3191 Carhampton Road.
We are closely monitoring the situation and we have operational gangs out on site to monitor the tides and any impacts. Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads.
