Flooding expected. Take action now.
Waves are forecast to overtop sea defences with sea spray as a result of high spring tides and strong winds. The time and date of the forecast high water is 21:00 on 30/09/2019. The forecast tide level is 7.34m AOD. The forecast wind strength and direction is Force 5 west south westerly.
Please note all tide times are in local time and are using the 24 hour clock and refer to the high water time at Hinkley.
Flooding to properties is possible at these times, however conditions may apply one to two hours either side of the high tide. There is a possibility of flooding for the coastline between Berrow and Brean Down including seafront properties at Brean Down Cove and Brean Down Farm.
Please stay away from large waves as they are dangerous.
Our incident response staff are checking defences and closely monitoring the situation.
