Flooding is possible from 8.45 pm this evening to tomorrow morning. 
High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected.
Flooding is possible around the high tide from 8:45 PM today 29/08/2026.
The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Hinkley of 6.01 mAODN at 08:45 PM on 29/08/2026, with westerly force 7 winds
Areas most at risk include coastal areas at Dunster Beaches, Blue Anchor, Steart, Stolford and Brean.
We do not expect to see similar impacts from the high tide tomorrow. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Avoid beaches and coastal promenades, which may be flooded .
