Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning.
Flooding is expected 2 hours either side of high tide on Tuesday morning.
Areas particularly at risk include Kingsbridge Quayside.
The high tide at Plymouth on Tuesday morning is at 08:30, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.81mAOD, which is 0.58 metres above tide table level. Strong force 8 southerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 5m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions should ease for Tuesday evening's high tide.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
