The risk of property flooding from the sea on the South Coast of Devon has now reduced and tide levels are falling. However as Storm Eunice clears the County, large waves and Storm force winds will continue to make conditions near the coast hazardous over the high spring tides which peak Saturday morning.
People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care next to the coast. Keep up to date with weather and tide conditions on local radio.
No further flooding is expected on Monday and Tuesday; however, stormy conditions are forecast on Wednesday which, combined with high tides, may lead to further flooding. We will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates as required.
