Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Flooding is possible for Saturday evenings high tide.
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers or on the coast. Areas particularly at risk include communities within the Kingsbridge, Dart and Teign estuaries. The high tide at Plymouth on Saturday is at 21:30PM, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.19 mAOD, which is 0.39 metres above tide table level. Force 6 south-westerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 2.9m are forecast over the high tide. Coastal conditions are continuing to ease, and this Flood Alert will be removed tomorrow.
