WARNING. Flooding is expected in Spey Dam to Newtonmore. Act now.
River levels are now rising in response to the heavy rain and melting snow in the area. Further persistent heavy rain is forecast overnight and into Monday morning with river levels expected to rise steadily.Agricultural land is at risk of flooding along the Spey Valley between Newtonmore and Kingussie. Low lying properties and access routes in Kingussie may also be at risk of flooding.
Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is available on our website or by calling Floodline on 0345 988 1188.
This FLOOD WARNING is now in force until further notice and was sent by email, SMS and/or phone, free of charge to registered Floodline customers.
