Flood warning

Heavy rain has fallen in the South Forty Foot catchment causing Swaton Eau in Swaton to rise and is forecast to continue to rise through the day. Low lying areas near to Swaton Eau are already flooded and we now expect properties in Swaton to be affected. Low lying properties near the river on West End in Swaton are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 07/01/25, or before if the situation changes.
