Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 
Flooding is expected from the morning of 09 January 2026 . 
Further heavy rainfall is forecast for today and therefore river levels are expected to rise and remain high over several days. Properties on West End in Swaton are expected to be affected first. 
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one .
