Flood warning

Property flooding remains possible. River levels are high but falling slowly on the Swill Brook following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property and roads remains possible today, 26/11/2024. Areas most at risk are properties closest to the river at Oaksey. The forecast is predominantly dry day with further rainfall forecast tonight (26/11/2024) into tomorrow. River levels are expected to continue to drop slowly overnight but remain sensitive to further rainfall and may rise again in response to forecast rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated this evening, 26/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
