Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high following recent heavy rainfall. Flooding continues. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from Wolverley to Newport. Other locations that may be affected include Market Drayton, Wem, and Rodington. We are closely monitoring the situation . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 4th March 2026 or as the situation changes.
