Flood warning

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 
Flooding is expected on 16 December 2025 . 
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Tetbury Avon, Sherston Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Areas most at risk include properties in Malmesbury around Goose Bridge and St John's Street. Weather conditions are expected to improve this afternoon however further rain is expected tomorrow. 
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses . Don't put yourself or others at risk. 
This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 16 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
