High tides this afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Sunday 7th December 2025.
Tide levels will be high at Battlesbrigde, and Hullbridge riversides. Creeksea Ferry Road onto Wallasea Island may be flooded. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at Clacton of 2.87mAODN at 1pm, today, Sunday 7th December 2025, which is 0.54m above tide tables, Wind Force 5, Southerly.
We are closely monitoring the situation and not expecting it to escalate or to issue any further alerts.
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
