Flooding expected. Take action now.
Heavy rain has fallen causing River Ise to rise. Low lying areas near to Geddington are already flooded and we now expect properties in Geddington to be affected this morning onwards. Low lying properties near the river on Queen Street in Geddington are expected to be affected first. No further rainfall is forecast, and therefore river levels are expected to fall. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 26/11/24, or before if the situation changes.
