Flood warning

This message has been issued because flooding of homes and businesses is likely in response to today's rainfall, Sunday 18 February 2024. River levels have peaked but are expected to remain high overnight. The watercourse will remain responsive to any further rainfall. Areas most at risk are Chapel Road, London Road, The Chestnuts, The Lane, and the A12 at Wrentham. The forecast is for a generally improving weather picture, but with the chance of the odd shower pushing through the catchment. The forecast is for some light showers on Monday 19 February and Tuesday 20 February. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message tomorrow, Monday 19 February.
