Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible around 2 hours either side of high tide (today) Tuesday evening.
Areas particularly at risk include low-lying land, roads and carparks, particularly at Little Petherick.
The high tide today at Padstow is at 19:50, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 4.45mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.5 and 0.6 metres above tide table level. Strong force 6 Southerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 1.7m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions should ease for Wednesdays high tides.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
