Flood alert

High tides combined with high river flows from upstream overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from late evening on Tuesday 3 February into the early hours of Wednesday 4 February.
The forecast high tide will impact the tidal stour at around 1:00am, combined with high flows this may cause flooding. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers or on the coast from Fordwich to Stonar Cut including Stodmarsh, Grove Ferry, Plucks Gutter, Ash Level and Minster Marsh.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
