Flooding expected. Take action now.
As a result of high tides and rising river levels flooding is expected. Conditions may apply either side of high tide. Consequently, flooding may affect land and roads around the time of the high tides today, Monday 12/02/24, and over the coming days.
Flooding is likely to affect land and may affect properties at Bollow. High tides mean that floodwater may overtop small lengths of the Elmore and Longney tidal defences and the Rodley tidal defence.
Predicted peaks:- Minsterworth, 5.9m to 6.1m at 10:45pm tonight, Monday 12/02/24, and 6.0m to 6.2m at 11:00am tomorrow, Tuesday, 13/02/24.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are undertaking a Tidal Patrol.
Flooding is not forecast at other gauge locations.
