Flood warning

River levels in the River Meon at Titchfield remain high, although falling slowly. Flooding will continue to affect Titchfield Hill with very high water levels at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and at the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Water could be continuing to flow across the main road and cause flooding to the front of Bridge Cottage. The remainder of today is forecast to be dry. On Tuesday, 03/02/2026, up to 30mm of rainfall is forecast. If as much rain falls as forecast, river levels will rise in response to the rainfall during Tuesday. River levels will remain high for the next few days. Ensure any flood protection products you may have are in place. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages. Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers‚ sewage and chemicals. This message will be updated by 16:00 03/02/2026.
