Warning no longer in force

The Flood Warning has now been removed. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the Tyne Estuary for the Saturday morning tide, so flooding of roads and low lying land is still possible. We do not expect to see similar impacts for tomorrow’s high tide. We will continue to monitor the forecast closely.
Continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
