Flooding expected. Take action now.
River and Lake levels remain high at the Pooley Bridge river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding remains a risk. Flooding is expected to affect properties on the B5320 between Dunmallard Hill and the River Eamont, including the Steamer Pier. We expect levels to remain high this evening 29/10/21, with some further rain forecast. Please avoid using low lying roads and footpaths near the lake and rivers. This message will be updated tomorrow morning 30/10/21, or as the situation changes.
