Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are have risen on the Upper River Loddon as a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today, 29/04/24, especially in the Cowdery's Downs area.

Today and tomorrow are forecast to be dry. River levels have peaked and are slowly starting to fall. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 30/04/24, or as the situation changes.
