Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Property flooding is not currently expected. Levels have risen on the Upper River Loddon as a result of a period of sustained rain, but have now stabilised and are slowly starting to fall. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today, 10/07/24, especially in the Sherfield on Loddon area. Further light showers are forecast today, with tomorrow expected to be mainly dry. We expect river levels to continue to fall. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 11/07/24, or as the situation changes.
