River levels remain high in response to heavy rainfall associated with Storm Amy. Flooding is possible overnight through to tomorrow, Saturday 04/10/2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Arkle Beck, River Swale, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around low-lying land in the vicinity of Grinton Bridge, and the B6270 at Low Whita are expected to flood. Rainfall is expected throughout the day.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourse and do not attempt to walk, drive or cycle through flood water. Take care and consider activating your flood plan if you have one.
