High river levels today may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 19 Feb 2026.

River levels are high on parts of the River Wey. Flooding of low lying land and roads is possible today, 19 Feb 2026, especially in the Alton area. The weather is forecast to be dry today, with further rain expected tomorrow, 20/2/26. We expect river levels to remain high today.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.
