Flooding expected. Take action now.
Heavy rain is currently falling in the Wealdstone Brook catchment. This is causing the river to rise and may continue to do so if the rainfall persists.
Properties and low lying areas in the Kenton area will start to flood first from 9pm on Friday. Further flooding is possible if the river continues to rise.
Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in all these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
We will be closely monitoring the situation throughout the evening and this message will be updated as the situation changes.
