Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides, strong winds and large waves over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 05/02/2026 from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths at Port of Sunderland Harbour.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid beaches and coastal promenades, which may be flooded .
This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 05 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
