High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 8:24pm on Thursday 8th January to 12:24am on Friday 9th January.
Areas most at risk include Weymouth Harbour and the tidal stretch of the River Wey, Commercial Road Car Park, Weymouth may be inaccessible. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Weymouth of 1.86 mAODN at 10:24PM, with North Westerly force 7 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.). Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of this high water level.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
