Flooding expected. Take action now.
Flooding is expected from 11:30 PM on 31/12/2024 and is forecast to affect locations near the Whelpo Beck, Gill Beck and Cald Beck, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Whelpo Beck, Gill Beck and Cald Beck at Caldbeck, Whelpo and Upton.
Weather conditions are expected to improve tomorrow afternoon and no further flooding is expected.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water or using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
