Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are falling but remain high on Whiston Brook due to persistent heavy rain yesterday, Friday 20th October 2023. Flooding is still possible at Whiston. There remains a risk of flooding to properties, particularly Moorhouse Lane Road in Whiston.
Our incident rooms are open, and we are closely monitoring the situation. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions, and consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
