High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Saturday.
Flooding is expected on 07 February 2026 A lot of rain fell Friday, and more is forecast Saturday.
River levels remain high, with flooding of gardens and the Millennium Water Meadows at Wickham expected to continue. More rain (20mm) is forecast Friday night and throughout Saturday (07/02/2026). Following light showers (7mm) on Sunday, further rain is forecast for Monday and Tuesday. River levels will therefore remain high, with flooding of commercial and industrial property downstream of the main A334 Fareham Road possible. Access to property in Bridge Street could be affected. River levels might not fall until Wednesday (11/02/2026).
We are checking rivers for blockages .
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
