Following rainfall associated with Storm Amy, levels on Widdale Beck at Appersett are peaking and are forecast to fall overnight. Further rainfall is forecast through the night and tomorrow (Saturday) morning, where levels may rise again, however they aren't expected to reach levels of concern.
Please remain safe and act on your flood plan if you have one.
We will continue to monitor river levels. This message will be updated by 08:00AM on Saturday 04/10/2025, or as the situation changes.
