Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Rising river levels are causing flooding this evening. 
Flooding is expected on 14 November 2025 starting between 18:00-20:00. 
Areas most at risk are Brookfield Avenue, Forest Road, Oaklands Avenue, Devonshire Square, Cattle Market, Granby Street, Kingfisher Way, Robin Mews, Bridgeside Cottages, Canal Bank and Packe Street. Loughborough, including properties around Forest Road and areas north of A6 are also at risk. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 18 hours. River levels at Loughborough Gauge will remain high until tomorrow afternoon, 14/11/25. 
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 
Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so . 
This message will be updated by 2:00AM on 15 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
