Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

High river levels continue to cause flooding. Areas most at risk are Staveley Court, Waterside Close, Belton Road, Bottleacre Lane, Meadow Avenue, Prince William Road, Jubille Drive, Monarch Way, Lisle Street, Edward Street and Derby Road. Minor banks at risk of overtopping from the River Soar. Water entering the floodplain and canal system puts property at risk around Belton Road and Bottle Acre Lane. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. Levels will remain high until Monday, 02/03/2026. We are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated by 10:30AM on 01 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
