Flooding expected. Take action now.
A flood warning has been issued as a series of high tides are expected over 3 days. Commencing with the high tide on Saturday evening, the 29/03/2025. Conditions may apply for an hour either side of high tide. High Tides may impact properties and roads including garages at Brockweir.
Predicted peaks: Newport 7.2m to 7.4m at 21:00 on 30/03/2025 and 7.4m to 7.6m at 09:15 on 31/03/2025.
Avonmouth Portbury 7.6m to 7.8m at 21:00 on 30/03/2025 and 7.9m to 8.1m at 09:30 on 31/03/2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid contact with flood water.
