River Levels

Yarmouth, Isle of Wight

Message issued at 9:49am, Tuesday 9th April 2024

Warning no longer in force

Storm Pierrick, which bought gale force winds and elevated tide levels along the south coast has now cleared the area. Last night's tide came in 20 cm under the forecast. Tide levels will remain high over the next 24 hours. During this period, at each high water, very minor impacts may be experienced, but we do not expect the tide to affect major roads or property. Take care around the coast during the high winds. A flood alert will remain in force to cover minor impacts for today's high water at 12:00 (09/04/2024).
