Property flooding is not currently expected. The forecast is for potentially heavy thunderstorms until midnight tonight, however the rainfall amount and location is uncertain. Unsettled weather will continue into Friday evening. If we receive this forecast rainfall water levels in the Ampney Brook will rise quickly and flooding of low lying land and roads would be expected.

We are constantly monitoring river levels. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings, flood waters may be deep and fast flowing. Please refer to river levels on the internet for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning (01/06/18).
