Flooding expected. Take action now.
Due to heavy rainfall in the River Nene catchment in the past 3 days the River Nene has continued to rise. Low lying areas near the River are already flooded and we expect properties and access to Yarwell Mill Country Park to be impacted through Thursday 28th November. Please follow the advice of emergency services present in the area. Other areas, including properties on London Road in Wansford, and Mill Lane, Waters View and Marina Terrace in Yarwell, may also be affected. Levels are expected to remain high for the next few days. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on Friday 29th November, or before if the situation changes.
