Flood warning

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.

Flooding is possible on 13 February 2026.

Flooding of property and roads remains possible today in the Chertsey area, especially at Eastworth Road and Hamm Court. Further light rain is forecast this evening. River levels are slowly falling, but will be responsive to further rainfall. Levels will remain high over the coming days. Tomorrow will be dry, but icy conditions are expected as the temperature drops.

We are closely monitoring the situation. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.

Stay away from flood water - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals. Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.

This message will be updated by 10am, 14th February 2026 or as the situation changes.
