Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels are falling but remain high at the Perdiswell river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible.
We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent the Barbourne Brook from the M5 to Barbourne including Perdiswell and Blackpole Industrial Estate.
No further significant rainfall is forecast today. We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days.
Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 11am on Wednesday, 08/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
