Strong winds, Gale Force at times, are set to continue until Tuesday 22/02/2022, which will generate large waves this weekend. However, conditions will still be slightly calmer than during Storm Eunice. Sunday’s early morning tide at 01:45 on 20/02/2022 at Chichester Harbour is forecast to be over half a metre lower than Friday 18/02/2022. Minor flood impacts caused by high water levels, or wave generated and wind blown spray, will continue, but with much smaller volumes. This will be much less likely to affect properties. Flood impacts are no longer expected to affect Bosham High Street. Please continue to take care on exposed coastlines in the unsettled conditions. We have staff inspecting flood defence assets along the Sussex coastline and will continue to monitor the weather forecasts. We will re-issue this message if the risk of flooding to properties increases again.
