Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this afternoon.
Flooding is expected when river levels are at their highest from 2:00 PM on 16/10/2024.
Areas most at risk include Boyces Brook and Duddel Brook at Ribchester, Ribblesdale Road, Church Street and Sunnyside Avenue areas.
Further flooding is expected this evening as river levels are expected to remain high due to heavy rainfall.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and checking rivers for blockages.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Consider activating any property flood protection products if you have them.
