River levels have risen rapidly as a result of heavy rainfall this evening and a blockage in the watercourse. Consequently, flooding [of property] is imminent. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Oakdale Road, South Bristol Sports Ground, Church Hill, Hollywood Road, Jean Road, School Road, Clayfield Road, Victory Park, Natures Garden and St Annes Wood. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. River levels can rise very quickly in response to heavy rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please can owners with property flood resilience equipment install it now. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 29/09/2019, or as the situation changes.
